Leslie (317537) is an experimental conceptual artist, human-centered designer, and creative producer with a background in media, experience design, and service strategy. DESGLOSE, Flower Shop Art Residency
Inviting DESGLOSE into the collaboration, Texas-based artist Jesus Trevino, orchestrates a pop-up exhibit to spotlight the recently established artist-residency. The exhibit titled ‘Memory Garden’ featured an intricate ensemble of elements, including seven sculptural copper artworks seamlessly entwined around raw materials, accompanied by evocative 35mm photographs, profound philosophical reflections, a thought-provoking food installation, and immersive projections. Each art piece functioned as a poignant timestamp, encapsulating a unique journey of thoughts, trials, and revelations. These moments artfully captured experiences of relocating to unfamiliar cities, embarking on new beginnings, confronting oneself, navigating heartbreak, nurturing friendships, embracing forgiveness, and ultimately experiencing the profound full-circle transformation of returning home.

Situated in the captivating backdrop of Tepoztlán, Mexico, this production unfolded as a compelling narrative spanning five distinct settings. The creative direction involved harmonizing visuals, captivating 16mm film shorts, and captivating photography to bring this tale to life, weaving a tapestry of luxury and artistry that resonates with the brand's essence.

The Divided Self
Divided Self is a nomadic alchemical concept recreating the way we process emotions & face fear. The debut featured an 11-course immersive dinner in Mexico City on Feb. 17 & 18th, 2023. The immersive evening of sight, taste, touch, smell, and sound, explores the circuitous process of death and rebirth. Using food as symbolism, the introduction of ingredients will serve as the emotional landscapes that we interact with in our day-to-day. This concept is inspired by the cyclical nature of life, death, and rebirth — and how the self impacts the collective.

Her latest endeavor introduces the concept of 'conscious blueprinting,' an innovative method that applies blueprinting principles to the intricate landscape of human emotions, merging awareness and creative expression to nurture accountability.
Under DESGLOSE, Leslie unveils immersive guided workshops, spearheaded by the inaugural series titled "A Portal to Human Desire." Over the course of three weeks, a select cohort embarks on a journey, equipped with a toolkit that provides an illuminating subconscious lens into the impact of their emotional ecosystem on the human experience. This toolkit seamlessly melds practical and conceptual practices, harmonizing the diverse facets of individual identity.

In Girls Our Age Edition 8, a captivating zine curated and produced in the heart of Los Angeles, I had the privilege of contributing in a meaningful way. With a blend of familiar faces and strangers spanning the globe, this edition stood as a unique testament to our shared experiences. Within this vibrant mosaic, my personal touch was woven into the fabric through a collection of 12 evocative photographs. Each image aimed to capture the essence of life's fleeting moments, offering glimpses into the beauty that surrounds us.
Additionally, I composed a heartfelt piece titled 'Your Memory En Mi Soledad,' an introspective exploration of emotions and reflections that often accompany solitude. This writing piece, derived from my personal journal entries, sought to resonate with readers on a profound level, encouraging them to connect with their own moments of contemplation and self-discovery. Through these contributions, I endeavored to amplify the zine's diverse chorus of voices and stories, infusing it with a part of my own narrative while simultaneously fostering a sense of unity among its global community.

Engaging in a dynamic creative alliance alongside MUSA, an expansive 165-acre beachfront sanctuary nestled within Arcadian jungle, we embarked on a visionary journey. This concept embodies the essence of a novel societal paradigm, seamlessly uniting life, work, well-being, and enjoyment in harmonious interplay. Envisioned as an ecosystem where sustainability is nurtured by the environment's teachings and intelligent design embraces a transformative world, this collaboration captured our imaginations.
Our involvement encompassed multifaceted dimensions, collaborating closely with in-house photographers to beautifully document a captivating 3-day sojourn. This immersive experience allowed us to partake in intimate gatherings, further intertwining our connection with the essence of MUSA. Additionally, we orchestrated a pulsating DJ set, culminating in an enchanting auditory journey for guests. This partnership signifies not only the intersection of creativity but also the convergence of visions, seamlessly weaving our story into the tapestry of MUSA's unique narrative.
